To put in a full head weave - you have to purchase a weave net - basically it is a net cap that covers your head and the hair is sewn or interwoven to it. Another option is to have your hair cornrowed in a circular pattern and the wefts of hair sewn to the braids - more expensive techniques include but are not limited to fusion weaves which range in price to 500 - 1500 per visit. Dont forget the quality of the hair is of major importance - cheap hair tends to bunch and look like a birds nest - good hair starts at about 50 to 100 a pound. I have not had a weave in years as I now rock dreads - but even when I was rocking my little ghetto weave - it still ran me about 150 every two weeks just to get some length added to the back and front. I have dark brown hair and I dyed my hair auburn. You can only see it in natural light. I love it though.

If you dye it red, you will get a darker red. You can do highlights which will be more apparent. It is more expensive but it may end up being cheaper over the long term. Talk to your stylist. They can advise on your hair and color.

What ever you do,do not just buy brown dye and put it on your hair. Your hair will turn a weird color,like green or gray. You need to put the red back in your hair,you can use a red filler or red color and then put a light brown color in your hair. Even if you get it done in a salon, it will fade out. Bleached hair is so porous. You might want to start trimming it off. This is such a pain to go through.

There is no real cheap way. I myslelf have bleached hair. I am a licensed professional. The only way to correct it would not only be to dye it, but you would have to add filers to the hair. Your hair is so porious, any brown you dye in will not hold all the way. It will turn into an ashy color, like a brown/green tone. Go to a professional!

I did this several years ago. I tried coloring it back to my normal color, but that faded out back to the blonde color quickly. You may have to cut it and just wait for it to grow out. That is what I did...While it was growing, I had some highlights put into it so the line between the light and dark was not so noticeable. I hope that made sense.

Well, I'd start by going to a salon where they know what they're doing. And just because someone has a license, doesn't mean they're any good at what they're doing. One of my worst hair disasters was done by a licensed cosmetologist. I then went to a good salon where they did a reverse frost. They pulled my hair through a cap and put on a darker color and that worked, although I had to have it done a few times in a short period of time, because it fades quickly. But to be honest, it wasn't exactly cheap, but well worth it. Good luck.

go thru ur pics and find a pic that is of u with ur hair at its natural color

take that pic with u to the store and match it with the top of the box as close as possible

if u cant find the actual color, go a shade or two darker, bc the color is gonna fade, and if u pick a liter shade ur gonna b stuck with dark roots and lite hair again.

or just take the pic with u 2 the hair place if ur willing to spend all that money for something that is basically fool proof that u can do on ur own.

I always dye my hair myself. Clairol works best for me and is usually the cheaper brand. But, the cheapest alternative if you want to do it for free, let you natural color grow out then cut out the bleached part. I tried to go dark brown/black from my dyed bleach-blonde once, but it didn't take very well and everytime I washed my hair, more color rinsed out. I cut my hair to just above the shoulders and that helped a bit. But now it's long and light blonde again. :)

Since it is summer, just let it grow out and get a trim every two months. This will keep your hair healthy, keep you from getting split ends, and it will seem like your hair is growing out faster. If your hair isn't all grown out by the end of the summer, then you should buy a color in between your natural color and the bleach blond because during the school year when your hair is finishing growing out the blonde, the new in between color will balance it out and make it less noticable when you natural hair comes back.

Hey hun.. let me tell you from experience.. GO HAVE IT DONE.. its one time that you have to pay $70.. if you dont, your hair will fade to a lighter, ugly color.. If u continue bleaching your hair, it's going to dry your hair out so much that you will look like you have straw hair. Trust me my aunt does it, and it don't look good. The first few times it may be cute, but after awhile it won't look good. Besides your hair is gorgeous with your natural color!!

If you want extra soft hair, daily use conditioner AND a leave-in conditioner/detangler. Stay away from blow drying, curling irons, perms, towel drying, alcohol based hair products, etc., these will dry and damage your hair.

If you want to put stuff in your hair then I would suggest beer, then lightly shampoo, follow with mayo, and heat dry. Of course wash it out, then follow suggestions above.

If your hair is too soft, try using a setting product ( mouse, gel, etc.) to firm it up a little.

You need to wash it everyday with a MILD shampoo, and condition the ends only.

If you over clean it (shampoo more than once, or with a harsh soap) this adds to the oilyness as your scalp makes more oil!

To decrease oiliness you can rinse your hair with beer once a week (after shampooing, apply beer leave wet for 30 minutes and then rinse it out with water + then condition)

If you are blonde or light coloured use lemon in the rinse water and if you are brunette or dark coloured use vinegar in the rinse water. Both are natural degreasers. Don't use any conditioner on the root end of your hair/scalp, only the very tips of your hair so that they don't dry out. Regular brushing every night with at least 100 strokes using a natural bristle brush is also very good. If your hair is long, keep it up as much as possible and don't run your hands through it unnecessarily as the natural oil in your fingers will make it greasier. Good luck!

If it looks natural then how could u know if its dyed. Natural hair is better cuz after you dye your hair often and for yrs it gets all dry and hard and for some their hair looks all fake and starts falling. Thats what women that are older and have dyed their hair always tell me. Oh and I agree with AndreaD 2 too.

Boil one quart of water. Tie the suitable ingredient according to your hair color in a piece of doubled cheesecloth and toss it into the boiling water. Remove them from heat and let the water soak the color for about 10 minutes. Then, remove the cheesecloth bag. Shampoo and rinse your hair thoroughly. Pour the color enhancer you have prepared over your hair, while it is warm. Be sure it is not hot. Rinse it finally with a quart of cold water. Do this once a month for that lustrous hair posed by models.

Honey is good for skin and hair. Take 4 cups of warm water and stir 1 teaspoon of honey in it. Pour it into your hair after shampooing and let the hair dry as normal. You don't need to rinse it.

Over-processed hair lose their shine too so be careful nor to overuse all those chemical hair products in the market. Silicone products add shine to hair momentarily but are difficult to wash out causing a buildup that make your hair dull. Vinegar rinse should be used sparingly too or it may dry out your hair.

Other tips:

Do not brush your hair while it is wet. Hair is the most prone to stretching and breaking while it is wet.

After you shampoo, apply conditioner %26amp; then gently comb out your hair with a wide tooth comb before your rinse out the conditioner. Run water through your hair gently - don't swirl it %26amp; twist it. Then gently gather sections to squeeze out the water.

Use a super absorbent microfiber towel to press the remaining moisture in your hair after you get out of the shower. Spray on a leave in conditioner %26amp; comb out your hair again w/ a wide tooth comb if necessary. Start at the bottom %26amp; work your way upwards to remove any tangles.

The microfiber towel is more absorbent than a conventional terry cloth towel so it will help your hair air dry faster. It will also reduce the time needed to blow dry your hair.

Only brush your hair while it is dry %26amp; use brushes w/ smooth tipped bristles that are widely spaced to avoid tearing your hair.

if you have a brush with balls on the ends and even one ball has fallen off - you need a new brush. the tine where the ball has fallen off will cause split ends, too. and split ends cause split ends so you are fighting a loosing battle if you don't change your brush. - get a denman brand. they are awesome and last (litterally) a lifetime (i have and use my grandmothers old brush - 50 year old brush and it's my favorite).

another tip:

towel dry before you condition. you'll need 1/2 the conditioner and it will work twice as well, too.

to get it curly use the soft curlers. every night use them wrap them up in a doo rag and put ALLL NATURAL SHEA BUTTER around your edges.

Believe it or not.good old cheap mayo. Wet your hair apply enough to cover your hair, wrap your hair in plastic wrap, wait 1 hour. In the sun or heat is even better. Do this once a week, you will see a difference with high costs of expensive conditioners. Also, get your ends trimmed.

When you're done with that, you use a flat iron to straighten it more if you want. And then you put in anti-frizz stuff, and then some shine stuff, and then if you want you can like, hairspray it or something I guess so it holds its shape or something.

i would go to hair stylist to get this done...you could bleach it and then color it whatever you want it to be but thats alot of processing...you could also strip it and then color it again but again thats alot of processing. Another option...which is the route i am currently taking with my extremly dark dyed hair is well the other day i went and the stylist used something on my hair to lighten the dye i have in my hair (it was amazing my ends went from being black to being dirty blonde) she was then able to take some of the auburn tint that was at my routes out with some semi-permanent hair color....both of these things she put in my hair had either no or very little ammonia which means they didn't damage my hair, yay! I am going back in a week or two and she is going to put a full head of blonde foils through my hair, and then my blonde hair color i am used to will be restored! I no it sounds a little time consuming but in the end i think it will be worth it when there is no damage and i will have the hair color that i really want!

i did the natural thing for a while. How i did it was do an Egg and mayo treatment once a week. use only the egg yolks and mix it with a cup of mayo. Put it in your head, put a plastic bag on your hair and get under the hair drier for 30 min. then shampoo out. Its a DEEP conditioner.
