I have my hair in braids right now and I stopped relaxing my hair 2 months ago.
How long will it take for my hair to grow back natural?
I stopped relaxing my hair a year ago and on top of that, cut out all the perm (I cut it down to an inch). So far, now I've got enough hair to pull back into a small pony-puff (lol). I did it without getting braids put in it.
It depends on the person. My hair grows really fast, and really thick. I like to say that it takes hair a month to grow a half an inch. But like I said, everyone is different. Genetics has a part in hair growth, too. Just take vitamins, drink lots of water, and don't apply a lot of heat to your hair. I think you're doing good with braids, just make sure you deep condition your hair well when you take them out.

It is hard to say... Healthy hair grows an average of one-half inch per month. The fact that you hair is curly means it won't really look like half an inch. If this is something you really want to do.. be patient. It WILL grow... hair always does. Make sure to take good care of your hair as it grows out and you got it made.
On a side note: Don't be discouraged, usually as soon as you decide you want your hair to grow out... it will seem like it takes forever! Remember when Mom used to cut your bangs too short?? lol
Good luck!

All hair grows at a different pace, also patience is important. I've been natural for almost 3 years, and I keeep cutting my hair. I've tried to do starter locs, twist, and everything in between.
