ok i had my hair dyed blonde, now the roots are looking awful and i cant afford to go and have it done pro! Please HELP

first of all your not going to get your color back to your " natural brown ". Try to find the closest color to your roots in a packet hair dye, ( from drugstore etc). Get a friend to help you do it and follow instructions to the " t " . Put Vaseline around your kneck and hairline so the color will not stain your skin.

Do a test strand before hand.

get a natural hair colol, i forgot the brand, but it looks natural. %26amp; make sure that it is the color of your roots. %26amp; if you're gonna go blonde again, get high lights like foil instead of color the whole hair, unless you are going to touch it up every few weeks.

I'd go to a place that specializes in color correction. If you'd prefer to do it yourself, dye it the closest color you can find to your natural color and keep coloring it that color until it grows out.

im a hairdresser and yes!!! you can get your color back.... but not on your own sorry... when you dye your hair blonde your not dyeing your hair at all what your doing is pulllng all your natural pigments out.. what you need to do is go to a salon and hair them "fill" your hair which is putting back the Blue Red and Yellow that you took out and then apply the color that you want your hair to be... if you buy hair color and apply it over the blonde youll never be able to achieve the color you desire becauuse there is no under lying pigment it wont come out the color your want and it will fade very quickly

That's mostly correct. But you can get real close with a little more advise. If you color over blond without "filling" the hair first your asking for a muddy ashey color. i.e. GREEN!! A store color comes with 20 volume peroxide you need 10 volume. After you fill your hair though your ready to go. How do you fill it? There inlies the rub we can't tell you without seeing you. We need to know what level your natural color is and only a seasoned pro can do this. Knowing that determines the fill color usually gold, orange,red or copper. When do you fill the hair? When your going 2 or more levels darker on pre-lightened hair. What is filling the hair? Putting back the tone naturally present in a specific level. You need this prior to coloring. Sound scary? It is. Once the hair is filled properly though you can use any color you wish. One more thing if your hair is really porus the color you go back to you may only hold on the ends for a short time and then one day ... "What the hell happened to my color"? Your best bet find a salon that uses Wella colour perfect or Redken shades Eq. It's a simple quick fix and it will not damage your hair. Good luck.

Get your hair cut. If your hair is fast growing the blonde should come out in a short time. The roots won't look awful, you may just have to put up with it for a while. Good luck to you!
