I have dark brown hair and i used to have locks an when i did, i used lemon juice to lighten my hair while sittin in the sun. i would like to know if that would work with regular hair

yes, lemon juice works, especially if u put it in when u are in the shower and if u go to the beach or something, put it in before u go. be careful, cuz it will turn ur hair orange if u aren't careful!!

Yes. It works pretty good. But putting it in all brown hair will turn it an orangish color! So i dont recomend it. But if you really want to then use 100 % lemon juice OR the john fredia BEACHBLOND. It has lemon and stuff in it!

And whats your deffinition of regular hair lol (without the weaves or braids.. and by locks was it your real hair..so lost lol) anyways the point of the lemon juice is to put on your natrual regular real hair. Straigt curly whatever.. as long as its hair... its suppose to work. I guess. I never tryed it and i Have black hair now. soo I dunno. I just dyed my hair before but i am all natrual now. IF you want to lighten your hair and get the best resultes just go to the salone or do it yourself.. with those hair dyeing kits and lightin kits and wallmart, zellers.

A not-so-natural hair lightener is called "Sun-in". I found it to be a really good product. You spray it on and either blow dry your hair or go out in the sun. Your hair will be lighter depending on how often you use the product. Try-it!
