you can just make sure you use a oil treatment and leave in consitioner because chemicals in the dye are going to damage your hair leaving it a little dry

you need to get a hair color remover first. you can usually find them over the counter. read the directions very carefully on the color remover before applying it to your hair. after appyling it about a week or as long as your color-remover tells you, then if you need re-color do so. .
doing it this way could prevent the unwanted color that is already there from mixing with the newly wanted color. like mixing paint, sometimes you like it sometimes you don't.
