you do not have to cut your hair to make a fauxhawk, you only have to do that for a mohawk. if you want a mohawk you just have to keep the sides shaved off. if you want a fauxhawk you have to keep the hair on the sidess looking short (however you wish to do that, pin it down or cornrow to the center)

well it can be made into a frohawk. so you might have a mr t thing going on unless your hair is long(for a guy). if its longish it can be blown out with a hairdryer with comb attachment.. ive only seen it done on a girl which looked cool but on a guy it could go either way.
